This is session number two in the Clift family's ‘A Year in the Life’, following on from their dreamy maternity session by the beach. This time, we stayed at home and snuggled their new arrival, played with trucks in the backyard and climbed a dirt pile.
During an in-home newborn photography session, I always try to get a few 'family photos' with everyone in them. I won't be telling you how to pose or where to put your hands. I might say things like 'Okay, everyone on the lounge!', or 'Quick, let's race to Mum and Dads bed', but what you guys do when you get there is totally up to you. Whoever wants to hold the baby (or not!), that is totally fine, if your 2 year old wants to play peek-a-boo or pretend to be asleep or roar like a t-rex, that is fine too.
